Description:The purpose of this study is to analyze the career advancement of KSRTC employees. For this purpose, the researcher used primary data and which were collected through questionnaire method, total 592 different officer level of the employees were selected for the study by using Cochran's formal. The study reveals that, the management is responsible for the formation of human capital on the basis of systematic career advancement opportunities and facilities. Adequate investment, utilization of resource persons, involvement of seasoned mentors, application of new tools, implementation of career advancement programmes and scientific evaluation of career advancement programmes primarily determine the status of management of transportation institution in the present times. It is proved that human resources and their competencies in the organizational activities have a substantial impact on its competitiveness and performance.
