This was my first attempt at writing a novel, and I'll be the first to admit that I made a lot of rookie mistakes. It's not without its flaws, and there's so much that I would change. Rewriting it is on my to-do list to fix those mistakes - some of the dialog feels a bit stilted, some lazy descriptions, and I need more character development rather than using so many tropes. Plus, there's too many "red shirts" who are introduced for no reason other than to die. Like I said, it was my first book and it's not without its flaws. I self-published it simply to have a print version to leave behind for my kids and grandkids. Now that I have a lot more experience as a writer, Dead Hunt will be rewritten into the story it was supposed to be.
