Description:It’s just over a year since I published ‘Nine Years, Three Weeks and Three Days’, what a year it has been. The highs have been high, and the lows were lower than I could have imagined. Amongst all this there’s been some very good times, some interesting times and an educational trip to Amsterdam. I’ve also adopted my lovely dog, Max.‘Time Flies By Slowly’ carries on from where ‘Nine Years, Three Weeks and Three days’ left off…give or take a month or so.Once again, my bluntness, macabre humour and straight-talking language are used throughout. My experiences, since John died in 2018, have led me to develop my own version of the grief cycle and invent many analogies for grief. I’ve even written my own mathematical equation, not bad for someone who isn’t maths minded.One of my analogies describes grief as driving on the A1: You know it’s a long road, you expect to get stuck in traffic, there’s always an idiot who tries to cut you up and pull out in front. There’ll also be the nice drivers who let you into the lane and don’t block the entrance to slip roads. There’s also some lovely scenery to enjoy and the music can be of your choice. You know you’ll have to navigate through many junctions, and you don’t know for sure how many delays and diversions you’ll have to slowly make your way around in order to reach your destination. I hope ‘Time Flies’ is as useful to people as ‘Nine Years’ proved to be. Grief and loss are not the cheeriest of topics and it’s understandable that people don’t like to think or talk about them. If I achieve nothing else in life, I hope my experiences will make a difference, even a small one, to someone out there.Once again; I don’t claim to be an expert, I still don’t have the answers, I do have the continuation of my story to tell.We have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
