4.9/5 (21027 ratings)
Description:Ši straipsnių rinktinė „Music That Changed Time“ skirta iškiliam lietuvių muzikos kūrėjui Broniui Kutavičiui ir Baltijos kraštų kūrybos proveržiui po 1970 m. Knygoje sudėti straipsniai, parengti 2012 m. Vilniuje vykusios 43-osios tarptautinės Baltijos muzikologų konferencijos pranešimų pagrindu. Joje – dvidešimt įvairių šalių muzikologų mokslinių straipsnių, šešiuose skyriuose gvildenančių įvairius praeito amžiaus 8–9-ojo dešimtmečių Baltijos kraštų muzikos aspektus. 8–9-asis dešimtmečiai Baltijos kraštų muzikoje – tapatybės paieškų laikas. Viena vertus, tos kartos kompozitoriai ieškojo individualios muzikos kalbos, savitos raiškos. Kita vertus, sustiprėjo menininkų bendruomenes vienijančių idėjų ir vertybių poreikis. Oficialioji sovietinė doktrina skelbė „brandaus socializmo“ laikotarpį, o mene vis stiprėjantis individo – tautos šauklio balsas pamažu trupino sistemos pagrindus, žadindamas visuomenėje nuoširdumo, bendrystės, tautinių tradicijų, dvasingumo, religingumo ir laisvės ilgesį.In the music of the Baltic countries, the period between the end of World War II and the fall of the ‘Iron Curtain’ is inseparable from totalitarian regime and attempts to circumvent its constraints. Compositions of the first post-war decades were infused with the Soviet and pseudo-folkloric aesthetic. It is only in the 1960s that the music of the Baltic countries experienced a sudden leap of modernisation, when the political climate had ‘thawed,’ contacts had been made with the musical communities existing in other Eastern bloc countries, and the whole cultural paradigm had changed. The young composers of the time became besotted with ideas of the avant-garde. Yet it is not until the beginning of the 1970s that the more profound renewal commenced in the music of Lithuania and other countries of the Baltic region, with the increasing importance of the ideas of cultural resistance, national identity and creative freedom. The texts published in the present collection of articles deal with the creative work of Kutavičius and other composers of the Eastern European region who experienced a similar change in ideas at the same time.We have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
