A long catalogue of learned works was the outcome of his labours in defence of the Faith. As Priest and Pastor he administered the parish of Broadwindsor during forty years. As an artist he was gifted with genius of a high order, and in his travels in Europe and Asia he made con stant use of pencil and brush for sketching places and objects of interest.
