He wrote excellent Spanish, and was Author of several works, amongst others of the following: - A Life of Marcus Aurelius Antoninus, as an example to Princes, published at Seville in 1534, 4to; Madrid, 1658, 4to; translated into French by N.de Herberay, Paris, 150, 8vo; and Antw., 1592;an Italian version, 1562, 4to; the same in Latin, with notes, by Johan.
