The question - "Why have we no Revivals in this country?" has been put, till it has been aptly answered by another. "Is it true that we have no Revivals in this country?" It is a curious evidence of the neglect to record these most interesting visitations of the Holy Spirit, that many have obtained, for the first time, an idea that God has at times dealt in this manner with His church in their native land, by reading the allusions made to such things by Jonathan Edwards, in his Accounts of the Revivals in New England.
