I had a child once look at me, as we were talking about a relative whom had died, and a family member had claimed to have seen the ghost of the deceased relative, sadly some of this person’s friends had not wanted to believe in such apparitions, claiming that such things as ghosts simply do not exist. Stating that if they did, then why is it, that everyone else have not seen them; and then a child came out with something quite incredible for such a young mind. “I cannot see or hear the wave length that my TV and Radio work on, but if I switch on my TV and radio, then the equipment has been prepared to open it for me, and then I can see it, but because I could not see it before, did not mean that it was not there, it was there but just unseen to my understanding at that point in time.” I was amazed at this child’s perception of something so complex, and then of her understanding of something that she could not see, let alone touch or truly understand. Incredibly she did not dismiss it because she could not see or understand it, yet the child was very happy to accept that once certain criteria and conditions were set into place, then her eyes were able to see, and her ears were able to hear, that which what was hidden from her before. If only all of society could have such an understanding, and a mature outlook on subject’s which they do not understand.
