It is usually construed, "and besides the incurable Ajax is present with me a fresh antagonist." This appears to betootechnical a sense to suit the passage. 614. ippevbs Oio$6tijs. In its primary sense the word olo$6rris seems to mean "one of the herd that wanders away from the rest and feeds alone." Hence the poet, dropping the idea of feeding, applies the expression in combination with ppevbs to one who wanders from his right mind.
