Traveling Lighted Pathways

Carl L. Adams
4.9/5 (15480 ratings)
Description:From years of teaching and ministering to the incarcerated, the chapters of this book were born. Gleaned from the author's messages and sermons came the framework for its contents. This book contains guiding light for the fundamental issues of life, and mixed with a few true-life short stories. Travel with the author through avenues of life issues addressing loneliness, forgiveness, perception, love, trust, attitudes, obstacles, character, and many others. Throughout all of these messages and stories, there is one single ray of light for aspiration - God. Between the covers of this book can be found hope for the weary, as well as for the jovial. Carl Adams is a retired Navy Logistics Specialist with thirty-five years of service. He served aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Independence as a Flight Deck Troubleshooter, and also flew with the 711th Special Operations Squadron as an Aerial Gunner. His last duty station was Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio with the Joint Depot Maintenance Activities Group. For eleven years his assignment was in a joint technology service unit, interfacing with all the military, industry, government laboratories, NASA, and academia. Their mission was seeking improved methods for cost effective enhancements of U.S. military weapon system sustainability. Since 1999 he has been engaged in dedicated jail and prison ministry, spanning into eight different correctional institutions, including Ohio Death Row. He instructs Life Skills Mentoring Classes, is an Inmate Mentor, serves as a Detention Center Chaplain, and is a Certified Chaplain with a major church denomination Chaplain's Commission. We have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
